Hyundai is all set to launch the new 2018 Hyundai Creta Facelift with refreshed exterior and stylish interior, and new added features for the fully loaded variant. While the new crossover is yet to be launched, here are the fully unveiling “spy” images of the upcoming car.
Korean car manufacturer Hyundai is all set to launch the new Creta 2018 facelift in the Indian market in the coming weeks, but ahead of the launch, an automobile publication Motoroids has got hold of the images which fully reveal the Hyundai Creta 2018 facelift. This is an addition to the snaps when the crossover was spotted on many occasions and a product presentation was leaked online as well a few days ago. However, this time, the car has been spotted at what appears to be a dealership stockyard, and unlike last time, this one had no camouflage on it whatsoever.
As you can see, the 2018 Hyundai Creta facelift gets a whole new front with a set of new projector headlamps with LED DRLs, Hyundai’s signature cascading effect front grille and a dual-toned look with a bold new bumper. The car will ride on dual-tone 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels which look very attractive in the pictures and updated headlamp design, new fog lamp design and revamped bumper with a silver skid plate. On the rear of the facelift, there’s a new bumper design, revised tailgate, newly designed taillights and reflectors. On the inside, the Creta will offer a new upholstery and a new trim around the air condition vents. The dual-tone paint schemes will offer an orange colour interior pack.
The SUV will remain largely the same in terms of specifications, which means that the current engine options will be carried over. The smallest of the engines that the Creta offers is a 1.4-litre diesel motor that produces 90 PS and 220 Nm. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The 1.6-litre petrol engine produces 123 PS and 151 Nm. The 1.6-litre diesel engine offers 128 PS and 260 Nm. The 1.6-litre engines offer two transmission choices – 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic. But, the car will have a “Smart Key Band”, a six-way electric driver’s seat, electric sunroof in addition to cruise control and wireless charging system. It must be noted that these new added features will only be available in the top-spec SX (O) trim. For prices, well, we can wait until its launch.
