The ‘festivals of February’ are all set to entertain India with an eclectic mashup of festivals that are in line throughout the month – the first being the ongoing 2019 Northeast Film festival in Pune, Maharashtra.
2019 Northeast Film festival started on February 1 morning in Pune, Maharashtra, and the three-day event will embrace the acting and culture of Northeast films and will welcome prominent celebs from the northeast region. The extravaganza is organised by the Northeast National Film Archive of India and Symbiosis Ishanya Cultural and Educational Centre in alliance with the North East Community Organisation Pune. Screening of around 15 films in seven languages and two bilingual films will constitute the entire schedule of the event.
An Assamese film, Village Rockstars, culminating the film festival. The three-day fest will also be treating the guests with traditional and fusion northeastern flavor feast. It will also be an arena to promote tourism and culture of Northeast India. The ongoing Kumbh Mela, Udaipur World Music Festival, Jaisalmer Desert Festival, Taj Mahotsav, World Sacred Music Fest, Khajuraho Dance Festival, The Nagaur Fair, Mahindra Blues Festival, Shekhawati Heritage Festival, Udyanotsav, Indian Derby, Kala Ghoda Arts Fest, Sula Fest, Sur Jahan World Peace Music Fest, Indian Heritage Walk, Rann Utsav, India Art Fair, etc. are some of the most awaited and not-to-be-missed festivals and events to delight India’s Cultural atmosphere. The states of Rajasthan, Delhi, Kerala are to expect more global and local tourism as the travel enthusiasts set out for the exploration spree. There will also be many communities and local tradition based festivals to take place.
