Just a day after Kulgam encounter in which a total of six civilians were killed when an explosion blew at the encounter site in Kulgam district, Pakistan PM Imran Khan called for resolving the issues related to Kashmir and stop the killings of innocent civilians.

The real situation of Kashmir and Kashmiris can no more be ignored as the place has become a battleground for two “arch-enemy” neighbouring countries – India and Pakistan. The cold war going on since years have reached a point that the civilians are not only affected, but killed for no reason. Recently, on Sunday, an explosive went off at the encounter site in Kulgam – that killed six civilians and prior to the explosion, three militants were gunned down by the security forces during the encounter.

Just a day after the Kulgam encounter, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan “condemned the killings of innocent Kashmiris” and said that it is time to “resolve the Kashmir dispute through dialogue in accordance with the UN SC resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people”. This is the second time after Imran Khan took over the top office that Pakistan has called for resolution of border issues with India through dialogues. However, it is to see if there will be peace at Kashmir, or that this is not over yet.
