Ahmedabad: Group Wedding will be organised at Shahi Baugh by Shree Ram Shyam Charitable Trust on 14th May to encourage visually impaired couples. Pre-Wed tradition including Mehandi Rasham took place today.

General requirements for the home such as refrigerator, bed, fan, etc. will be given to each couple to start their new journey which costs around about 1 lakh 30 thousand rupees. Krishnaben Agarwal who is looking after this event said, “We have helped more than 100 couple to start their new journey of life. This time there will be 6 couples from Ahmedabad, 1 from Vadnagar, 1 from Surat and 1 from Anjar have participated. Each and every bride & groom is well-educated and are happily employed.”

“This event will be started with the traditional ‘Sundarkaand’ and Jaan Prayaan will take place at 4 pm. The Vidaay Samarambh will take place at late night 12. We enjoyed a lot a today’s event of Mehandi Rasham. Our other organisation who is connected with us in either way is distributing free meals, medicine and other help to needy family,” she added further.
