Home-grown automaker Mahindra & Mahindra on Tuesday announced the launch of the facelift version of KUV100 at starting price of Rs 4.39 lakh and going up to Rs 7.33 lakh.

Mahindra has refurbished their entry-level offering, the KUV100, and added the NXT badge to it. The petrol trims start at Rs 4.39 lakhs, ex-showroom for the K2 trim, going all the way to Rs 6.4 lakhs. The diesel begins at Rs 5.39 lakhs and the top-sped K8 diesel gets a price tag of Rs 7.33 lakhs. The KUV100 petrol is powered by the mFalcon G80 1.2L 3-cylinder all-aluminium unit, which produces 83Ps of power and a peak torque of 115Nm and comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. While the KUV100 diesel is powered by mFalcon D75 1.2L CRDi unit, which churns out 78Ps of power and a peak torque of 190Nm, and comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Visually, the design of the Mahindra KUV100 remains largely unchanged, save for some considerable changes, which are distinct and noticeable to the exterior. The Mahindra KUV100 now gets revised headlamps while the grille takes inspiration from the updated Mahindra XUV500. At the rear, the new KUV100 facelift comes with new clear lens taillights with chrome bezels inside and black highlights, along with a revised bumper in line with the front unit.

The cabin, on the other hand, gets a new all-black treatment with brushed silver inserts for the premium touch. The lower trims will get grey interiors instead, but the overall layout remains unchanged. On the features front, the top-end K8 model now comes with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with audio and navigation support. Safety features include ABS with EBD, dual front airbags and ISOFIX child seat mounts. The size of the car has also been worked upon, and there is some slight increase in the length as well.
