Government is planning to get the first Hyperloop of India in Andhra Pradesh by installing it between Amaravati & Vijayawada.

Although, Hyperloop One is still in testing mode and it is nowhere installed yet in any part of world. Elon Musk, the founder of this project is optimistic enough to soon launch Hyperloop, a cracking alternative to bullet train. But, it is not yet cleared that when Hyperloop is ready, to which countries it will be available at initial stage.

Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX has not shared any accurate time period to release Hyperloop to world. On another side, AP is planning to cover distance of 35 km in just 5 mins between their two vital cities.

The AP Economic Development Board (AP-EDB) and the US- based Hyperloop Transportation Technologies (HTT) signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Amaravati on Wednesday. However, it is yet to release the cost and time period for this project.

By knowing all the features of Hyperloop, it will take a huge amount of money and workforce to install. More the distance, more the resources. But, AP has planned to have a public-private partnership for this project as private investors are enthusiastic and heavyweight comparatively.

Hyperloop’s ‘tube modular transport system’ is still in quality testing stage and it is being carried out in many countries. It is also speculated that CM N Chandrababu Naidu had bilateral talks with HTT and have signed MoU, for which the Hyperloop team will be analysing the best possible routes by visiting cityscapes.

“After the six-month feasibility study, we will construct and build the first Hyperloop in India,” the HTT said.
