Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is getting her new wax statue being put up at Madam Tussauds, Singapore, perhaps it’s not just another wax statue; rather, it will be a talking statue to interact with the audience. With this, Anushka will become the first Indian to have their talking wax statue at the popular Madame Tussauds museum.
Madame Tussauds is known for its exceptionally uncanny wax statues of well-known personalities and celebrities from all over the world. Continuing to awe the audience, Tussauds has come up with talking wax statues of personalities. A lot of Indian celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karan Johar and others already have their statues being displayed at the Madame Tussauds museums. Adding to the list, Anushka Sharma too is getting honoured with a wax statue. However, Anushka’s statue will be a talking sculpture.
The Tussauds team has planned Anushka’s statue to be holding a phone in one hand and it will greet the audience if one picks up the phone. Some interactive features are also given to the statues of personalities like Cristiano Ronaldo, Oprah Winfrey and Lewis Hamilton, with Anushka adding to the attraction now because it will talk. Tussauds team says that the talking feature is generally added to the wax statues of global leaders/icons and that they are “thrilled to be working with Anushka Sharma” as she will have the first talking wax figure at Madame Tussauds Singapore.
The Singapore Tussauds expressed how Anushka has been frequently requested by guests and her talking statue will be an incredibly popular addition to our attraction. It is said that the museum is too selective when it comes to choosing the celebrities to make their wax statues and adding additional features to make them attractive and Anushka being one of them – has stepped up as a globally recognised celebrity.
