Ready. Steady. BOOO with the poster of 2.0 – Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film; and let me tell you that this is not only the costliest Indian film being made currently, but it has Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar being featured in one movie – together.

If you missed out on Halloween, fret not because with this new poster of film 2.0, you will surely be able to devour your share of horror and creep. This sci-fi thriller is the sequel of Rajinikanth – Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Robot, and this time it seems Rajini’s Robot has a deadly battle on its hands. Now 2.0 has Akshay Kumar playing the main antagonist role, and from the posters, he seems to have no stones unturned to get into the villainous role. With scars on his face, monster yellow fiery eyes, villainous brows, terrifying vampy teeth and a scream that screams out even from the still photo poster is enough to give anyone chills, because I got one (or maybe the room temperature here is too low).

In the film, Akshay will be essaying the antagonist, the eccentric scientist called Richard, while Rajinikanth returns as scientist Vaseegaran. Starring two of the biggest superstars of Bollywood and Kollywood, 2.0 also has Amy Jackson in a supporting role. Talking about the role, Akshay said that, “I’ve never done a role like this in my entire career. And, I’ve never seen anyone doing a character like this.” Sure Akshay, we know you always get to be the hero and it must be exceptionally tough for you to get into the anti-hero role. But the actor has got some impressive track record, so I am sure he’ll pull off the negative role flawlessly – at least that is what his fans are expecting.

Making it even more interesting, the music of 2.0 has been composed by none other than the Academy Award-winning music composer A.R. Rahman. With a humongous budget of around 450 crores, it will be one of the most expensive films in the history of Indian films, surpassing even Baahubali and its sequel. The movie is currently being shot in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously, and is expected to release in 15 other languages worldwide on 13th April, 2018.
