Global leaders gather up for World Economic Forum 2019 at Davos




Geneva-based World Economic Forum (WEF) is all set to host its 2019 edition and leaders from all around the world have arrived at Davos of Switzerland to attend the five-day lavish and boisterous global event called the World Economic Forum 2019.



World Economic Forum aka WEF is an independent international organization for public-private partnership, and the core purpose remaining to be identification of new models for global peace, agenda for climate change, cyber-security, human capital reforms,  inclusiveness and sustainability in international governance. Leaders from all over the world participate and the focus remains on improvising the existing models of global governance that are struggling, and come up with united action with world superpowers to resolve the issue.

The World Economic Forum 2019, or simply WEF 2019 is themed with "Globalisation 4.0:  Shaping a Global Architecture in the Age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution", and will kick start on 22nd January with the inaugural ceremony held on 21st January. The five-day of jamboree will host over 350 official sessions, summits, and global dialogues to discuss the agendas of every genre. These concourses tend to look for the new face of the economy and exhibit better structural changes essential in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

As many as 3,000 leaders or more from around 110 countries and about 65 heads of state/government and top international organizations, business enthusiasts and more than 1,700 leaders from private sectors, and over 900 civil society administrators, academia, arts and culture, and media all over will be attending the event. Celeb leaders like Swiss President Ueli Maurer, German Chancellor Angela Merkel,  Microsoft's Indian-origin CEO, Satya Nadella  are among those designated as co-chairs of the annual meeting.

. The leaders from international organizations like the United Nations and its sub-branches, WTO, World Bank, OECD, IMF, NATO would also be present. Indian heads, scrolling the expected figure up to 100, includes union ministers, chief ministers, and CEOs. The updated list is not starring Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Dharmendra Pradhan-the Petroleum Minister, and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis. Global dialogue on defining the principles for new and emerging technologies and on geopolitics to enable constructive and straightforward decisions leading to global cooperation will be made during the event.
