If you are looking for a job, well, Google can be a huge help as the search-engine giant has launched a new employment feature for India – which will help jobseekers o directly search for jobs across over a dozen partners of Google – making the entire job searching process much easier.
Google for Jobs. We rely on Google for a lot of things these days – so much that it is used as a verb! “Google it”. Getting deeper into our lives, Google has launched a new feature that will help users to find their dream jobs by directly searching it on the search engine. The “Google for Jobs” feature was launched in the US last year and has finally arrived to India from Tuesday (April 24). Aimed to make job search easier and accessible by everyone, Google has made the feature available in English in web Google Search and Google app for Android as well as iOS.
To make the job search experience better, Google has not just aggregated job openings by itself – rather, it has partnered with more than a dozen job-listing companies to form structured data. The partners Google has reached for include giants like IBM Talent Management Solutions, LinkedIn, Quezx, QuikrJobs, Shine.com, T-Jobs, TimesJobs, Freshersworld, Headhonchos, Aasaanjobs and Wisdomjobs. Here’s more – the Google for Jobs feature won’t be limited to just private sector jobs as Google is working hard with state governments of India so that the government job openings can be listed too – taking job search experience to another level.
To get hold of this mega-mega job search option, you’ll need to Google search phrases like “jobs near me” or “jobs for freshers” or simply just search for a particular job post on Google. On doing that, you’ll land on a special module which will allow you to walk through various jobs, customise search and save relevant job postings. Needless of mentioning, there will be a list of all jobs available on all partner websites with comprehensive description like – job titles, location, and their nature such as full-time or part-time. Users can also refine the search results with filters like job profile, title, location, date posted, or company type – and bookmark relevant listings and revisit them in the future. One can also opt for “Alert” option which sends users email notifications whenever new and relevant jobs become available. There you go, indulge.
