Apple Inc. has sent out official invites to media – titled as “It’s show time” for the launch event that is ticking for March 25 at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple campus in Cupertino, California.

There was a time when Apple was able to play around with the suspense-surprise theme, but these days, there are just plain out so many rumours – which, surprisingly are to point most of the time. Since quite few weeks, we had heard the unheard news of Apple’s event for subscription services in March this year. So it was not much of a surprise when Apple officially sent out the invites for its launch event on March 25th – only that it confirms the exact timings to be 10 AM PST.

Playing the suspense game with the invites too, Apple has remained tight-lipped about what to expect from the event – but has dropped some obvious clues. Titling the invitations with “It’s show time” clearly confirms the long-standing rumours about Apple launching the subscription services for video and news on March 25, 2019. As far as we have heard of the new video-streaming services, Apple too might jump into the same bandwagon in which Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. are already riding.

To make the video-streaming stand out, Apple is planning to spend something over two billion dollar in Hollywood to produce its own exclusive content – more like its own TV channel, only better. So there could be CBS Corp, Viacom and Lions Gate Entertainment Corp’s Starz etc, and Apple’s own original content on the TV service – available globally. The company is also reportedly in talks with HBO and AT&T-owned WarnerMedia to be the part of new launch for a complete entertainment solution to all Apple users.
