If you are the person who loses and forgets documents when needed and wish you could have access them anywhere anytime? Well someone is listening to your wishes as the students of ICSE and ISC will now receive the digital version of their mark sheets and certificates so that they can be easily accessed anytime anywhere.

Until now, students had to download and the scanned image of the hardcopy of mark sheet for the digital version but now they just need to register on digilocker.gov.in and provide their cell phone number for later steps. The Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) Chief Executive and Secretary Gerry Arathoon said that they will also provide digitally signed copies of the mark sheets and the certificates via digital alongside the traditional hard copies.

And it’s not just mark sheets, they will also provide digital copies of digitally signed migration certificates. And to make sure that these digital documents are not misused or fall into hands of unauthenticated intruders, they will be stored in digital locker which provides dedicated personal electronic space in a government-owned public cloud storage where a candidate keep his/her documents for ever without worry about losing it.

The CISCE board has partnered with the IT department to extend the DigiLock service to Class 10 and Class 12 students of ICSE and ISC boards respectively. And this facility will be implemented from this year. The students can also upload their documents like registration certificates, admit cards, mark sheets and pass certificates for which the Aadhar card number will me mandatory.

See where this is all going? Yeah, the digital India mission initiated by PM Modi and the digital mark sheets will savour the tech savvy young generation and will also ease out the management of important data and documents. It is definitely time to move ahead, step ahead breaking traditions and adopting newer ideas and thoughts.
