There’s nothing that you will not like about the teaser of Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana’s Meri Pyaari Bindu.
Name itself is a comedy from an iconic track by Kishore Kumar from Padosan where Ayushman and Parineeti shares roller-coaster ride of love. Ayushmaan Khurrana’s dialogue at the end sumps up the feeling of the film completely. He says, “Pyar karna bahut log sikhate hai par afsos, pyaar bhulana koi nahi sikhata.”
The teaser will definitely make your day, taking back to the era of Dum Laga Ke Haisa which was set in a time when Tape cassettes were still relevant. Here Ayushman is too fond of cassette and Parineeti backs him, talking about their favourite songs together. The teaser in a few minutes shows a lot about the film and we would like to applaud the person who has cut it. If there’s a man trying to write stories remembering the woman he loved, there’s also their sweet romance to see.
Parineeti’s melodious voice elevates the teaser to a completely different level.
Parineeti Chopra has sung the heart touching song, perhaps the best actress to singer transition you maight have seen. Plus, Ayushmann and her jodi is so fresh that you would want to see more of it.
Now, the first poster of the romantic-drama is out and sees the duo in their playful avatar. Meet Parineeti aka Bindu, a singer and Ayushmann aka Abhimanyu Roy, a novelist who specialises in writing horror stories. Don’t miss how the actor is seen holding a novel that’s hilariously titled ‘Chudail ki choli’.
Directed by Akshay Roy and produced by Maneesh Sharma, the first trailer of Meri Pyaari Bindu releases on April 3. The movie is presented by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films and is scheduled to hit the screens on May 12, 2017.
