The Hannah Montana teen-legend and US pop-star Miley Cyrus has confirmed her marriage with long-time partner and Australian actor Liam Hemsworth after 10 years of on-off relationship.
Miley-Liam wedding ceremony was a small, low-key family event held on Sunday in presence of Cyrus’ mom, Tish Cyrus, and dad, Billy Ray Cyrus. Although pictures from the wedding had started surfacing around on Monday, Miley confirmed her marriage to the Australian actor on Wednesday. She posted a series of pictures on Instagram, including one where the couple was embracing each other, captioned as “10 years later..”, confirming the news of Miley Cyrus marrying Liam Hemsworth, officially.
The long-standing partners first met on the sets of “The Last Song” in 2009 and had dated for three years. Reportedly, the couple even got engaged in 2012 but they called off their engagement the following year and stayed broken up for three more years. But in 2015-16, the couple reconciled and “were not only back together, but also engaged” as Miley said during the interview in “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”. After this, the couple had been living together in their Malibu home, but had lost the property in California fires last month.

Following the complete devastation of their home, the couple made a donation of $500,000 to The Malibu Foundation. But after a decade of ups and downs, Miley and Liam tied knots, apparently, Miley “can be tamed” and will now start a new chapter in their lives.
