Hyderabad: Considering the growing unemployment in Andhra Pradesh, the government will share stipend of Rs 2,000 per person till they find the job.
According to the report of Indian Express, this step was committed in 2014 election manifesto by Telugu Desam Party (TDP). They also included at least one job per family or stipend to unemployed youths.
Budget of Rs 500 crore will be passed by AP cabinet despite its clear date to announce it from an official mouth. Minister of Youth and Unemployment Benefits, Kollu Ravindra said that they are actively collecting the data and there are about 12 lakh unemployed youths in the state for which his government is committed and taking care of.
Inspiring from West Bengal and Tamil Nadu state who are giving various benefits to unemployed youths, AP is also following the same path in order solve the current employment situation in the state.
FM Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, stated the steps are being taken actively to provide skill development and training to create more and efficient job opportunities for the dedicated youths of Andhra Pradesh.
In addition, AP government can also ask these youths to join community development projects in villages as a part of rural development mission. A budget can be hiked from Rs 500 crore to Rs 1000 crore if necessary. The government has also allocated Rs 398 crore to impart skill development and entrepreneur training to the unemployed youth.
