There has been remarkable growth in the tourism industry of India in the current fiscal. E-Visa facility is the key player according to the government.

As per the visa record, An Asian nation Bangladesh (20.12%) is at top to visit India in the frequent manner followed by US (16.26%), UK (10.88%)  and France (3.01%). Foreign Tourist Arrivals (FTA)s from January to July were 56.74 lakh, recording a growth of 15.7 per cent as compared to 49.03 lakh in the corresponding period last year, Tourism Ministry said in a statement.

Plus 7.4% was marked for about 7.88 lakh visitors from foreign visited India for various purposes. Most of them are on tourists visa as per government statement. As many as 7.34 lakh tourists came to India in July last year, it said.

An aggregate of 1.19 lakh tourists went ahead e-visa a month ago when contrasted with 0.68 lakh in July 2016, enrolling a development of 73.3 for each penny. From January to July, an aggregate of 8.36 lakh tourists touched base on e-visa when contrasted with 5.40 lakh amid the relating time frame a year ago, recording a development of 54.7 percent.

The UK’s offer was most noteworthy in the tourists profiting e-visa office at 12.9%, trailed by the US (12 percent), the UAE (7.2 percent), France (6.4 percent), Oman (6.1 percent) and China (5.4 percent).
