Indian Cricket team skipper Virat Kohli has posted a video of himself on Twitter showing him doing 20 spider planks, tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in this post for the fitness challenge that was started by Union Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore; and Modi accepted it!
Fitness has been a trend lately, thanks to social media that a number of challenges are swirling around to keep people motivated towards it. Recently, Union Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore started off a fitness challenge on Twitter called HumFitTohIndiaFit. The Olympic medallist union minister shared a video doing push-ups and requested others to share their own video displaying their “fitness mantra” with others. This post was meant to challenge people with different physical activities and tagging their friends to keep the challenge chaining up.
I have accepted the #FitnessChallenge by @ra_THORe sir. Now I would like to challenge my wife @AnushkaSharma , our PM @narendramodi ji and @msdhoni Bhai for the same. 😀 #HumFitTohIndiaFit #ComeOutAndPlay pic.twitter.com/e9BAToE6bg

Interestingly, the minister tagged cricketer Virat Kohli, badminton champion Saina Nehwal and superstar Hrithik Roshan informing about this campaign. Interestingly, Kohli posted a video of himself on Twitter showing him doing 20 spider planks and tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the post. Along with the PM, Virat Kohli has also tagged wife Anushka Sharma and hard hitter cricketing star MS Dhoni to the post. To our surprise, PM Modi positively responded this morning by tweeting “Challenge accepted” in response to the fitness challenge and promised to post his own fitness video soon.
It will be interesting to see what physical activity the 67-year-old Prime Minister will opt for, to prove his fitness. As a guess, PM Modi has a deep love for yoga and he practices yoga on a daily basis and so we can expect a yoga video for the fitness challenge. Among other people who were tagged in the post by the union minister, actor Hrithik Roshan replied to it by sharing his video showing him riding a bicycle and clarified that this was how he travelled to work every day. The campaign was also appreciated by tennis star Sania Mirza among many others.
