Not getting Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra off the headline once again as she signed Universal’s big-budget Hollywood film Cowboy Ninja Viking against Chris Pratt days after quitting Bollywood film Bharat with Salman Khan.

The desi girl Priyanka Chopra seems to be eventually phasing out of Bollywood and setting her foot firm into Hollywood. After gaining the western attention and popularity through American show Quantico, whose final season is running currently, Priyanka has appeared in other sitcoms  like A Kid Like Jake with Jim Parsons and Claire Danes as well as in movie Baywatch with Dwayne Johnson.  Next up, she has signed up for comedy film Isn’t It Romantic and will be seen on Hollywood silver screen with Rebel Wilson. Perhaps, there’s yet another addition to Priyanka’s upcoming projects as she has signed up to play lead role in Cowboy Ninja Viking after a successful chemistry test with its lead actor Chris Pratt.

Cowboy Ninja Viking is currently in pre-production stage at present and will be directed by Game of Thrones fame Michelle MacLaren from a screenplay by Dan Mazeau, Ryan Engle, Craig Mazin, Paul Wernick and David Reese. Based on the Image Comics graphic novel by A.J. Lieberman and illustrator Riley Rossmo, the movie’s story revolves around a counter-intelligence unit formed by psychotherapist Sebastian Ghislain who transforms agents known as Triplets (a reference to multiple personalities). Pratt, the lead actor of the film, is playing a formidable agent with the fighting skills and showcasing personalities of a cowboy, a ninja, and a viking and Priyanka will be playing the lead actress role. The Priyanka-starring movie will hit the silver screen on June 28, 2019.

The new Hollywood signup comes after she signed off the Indian period drama film Bharat against Salman Khan for “a very special reason” as tweeted by film’s director Ali Abbas Zafar last week. Eventually only to find out that Priyanka has recently got engaged with American singer and artist Nick Jonas, who has been the reportedly dating the actress since they met at the Met Gala 2017.
