Queen Elizabeth II’s entire staff across the United Kingdom has been summoned for an emergency meeting at Buckingham Palace in London today. The whole Royal household will be addressed by Lord Chamberlain, the most senior officer of the Royal Household, as well as Her Majesty’s right-hand man, Private Secretary Sir Christopher Geidt.

The emergency meeting call which is considered to be ‘highly unusual’ at the Buckingham Palace has swirled rumours and concerns around the monarch country regarding the wellbeing of the monarchs including the Queen herself who recently turned 91 and the Duke Prince Philip who turned 96. This has sent Britain’s rumour mill into a concerned frenzy and even the longest serving and most trusted Royal members are kept in dark as of what the meeting will be about.

Amidst all the rumours, the Royal Editor for Sunrise and the Evening Standard Robert Jobson tweeted to break the ice saying that the special meetings for Palace staff like this are not unprecedented and there is no cause for being alarmed about it.

There was one more Tweet by Rosa Hwang who is a Senior Broadcast Producer at CTV assuring the health of the monarchs.

While the social media and news channels have been overwhelmingly curious about what has happened at the Royal house, the Buckingham Palace has declined to make any comments regarding this, the reason for the ’emergency’ meeting will only be disclosed only after the meeting will be conducted today. And it is stated by some media reports that the Royal Announcement will be made at 8 AM GMT today. But the statements of the Royal Editor are surely respiting.
