British luxury SUV brand Land Rover has launched the 2018 Range Rover Evoque Landmark Edition in India and this is a limited edition commemorating six years of the company’s stylish SUV Range Rover Evoque.
Range Rover Evoque was launched in 2011 and it has been one of the most sold and most stylish SUVs in India, as well as across the globe. Six years from its launch, Tata owned Jaguar Land Rover launched the 2018 Range Rover Evoque Landmark edition in India commemorating the success of Evoque even after all these years. Priced at Rs 50.20 lakh, the Landmark Edition is equipped with a number of updated features that makes it distinct from the standard edition. The new features include a dynamic body style kit, body coloured lower door cladding, a graphite atlas grille, bonnet, fender vent and tailgate lettering.
The car also gets new set of black glossy 18-inch wheels, a Carpathian grey contrast roof and a choice of three exterior colours. Not to forget the keyless entry and a power gestured tailgate which are pretty standard for a luxury SUV. Under the hood, the Landmark Edition Evoque is 2-litre Ingenium diesel motor which churns out 180 bhp and develops 430 Nm of peak torque. The Evoque can go from a standstill to 100 kmph in just 9 seconds while top speed is rated at 195 kmph. A 9-speed automatic transmission and a 4WD system are standard in the special edition model.
Interiors of the special edition Evoque are quite lux with dark satin brushed aluminium centre console trim finishers surrounded by grained ebony leather seats. The seats are stitched with light lunar stitches and a perforated middle section for a light, airy and comfortable ride. With all these striking updates and newly added features, the 2018 Range Rover Evoque Landmark Edition is expected to make the customer base of its standard version even stronger. It is true that compared to 2011, there are a huge number of luxury SUV providers including BMW, Audi and a new Lexus launched yesterday – but Range Rover Evoque still has its special soft corner for its users.
