TED Talks – the epic American TV show conference which shares ‘ideas worth spreading’ is coming to India very soon and no other than Shah Rukh Khan will be hosting the show. But as per schedules of TED Talks: Nayi Soch, the show might actually compete with Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 11!

Technology, Entertainment and Design is what TED Talks is basically about, featuring high-profile celebrities to talk out their experiences, expertise and ideas for a fruitful outcome. The show is pretty amazing and it is great that India will finally have its own version of TED Talks which is better known as TED Talks: Nayi Soch. Hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, the promo shootings will begin on August 23rd at Mumbai’s Film City or Bandra and Ted Talks India will be aired in October, which is the same month when Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 11 will be aired.

But since the two biggest Bollywood superstars are best friends and trading cameos in each other’s promotions – the Khan brothers, you know; the competition is likely to be a friendly one. Both the shows have great potentials because TED Talk has that pre-defined inherited ‘woo’ factor, in addition to which, it will be featuring luminaries like A R Rehman. On the other hand, Bigg Boss has the loyal fan base and that controversial fame which is familiar to Indian audience.

So will the country accept a show which features stories about changes in society, climate, life and all those important topics, or will India go for Bhai’s familiar show? Both the shows are inherited from international entertainment market and both will follow their own signature style – which one will work the best in India, will be interesting to watch. Oh and TED Talks: Nayi Soch will follow the signature TED format with prominent celebrities who will talk their hearts out in an 18-minute or less monologue in front of live audience – pretty cool.
