Addressing the issue of car parking, Elon Musk’s super-electric car manufacturing company Tesla has just announced that they are soon about to launching the auto-park feature in all their upcoming cars from the next year – so that car parking can be done at a breeze every single time, regardless of the congestion in parking lots.
The gorgeous super electric cars by Tesla Motors will be able to find an empty park slot by the next year, according to Elon Musk. Moreover, the new auto-park feature will enable all Tesla drivers to read the parking signs and instructions to avoid tickets by the upcoming year. Known as “Autopilot” feature will be enabled by the full hardware and software support and will have control over the steering, brakes, and accelerator of the car. Not only will it help with parking and reading signs, but the gossip is that it is likely to enable the car to change the lanes automatically too, under some predefined conditions.
Talking about the compatibility of this feature, Elon said that this “Summon” feature will be compatible with all the Tesla Cars made in the last two years. And this feature will appear in the upcoming Tesla Cars as well.
For those unfamiliar, this uses Tesla Autopark/Summon. Slightly smarter version hopefully ready soon. By next year, a Tesla should be able to drive around a parking lot, find an empty spot, read signs to confirm it’s valid & park.

The autopilot feature will also enable your car driving itself, said Elon Musk in one of his tweets, without giving much details about it. His tweet said, “Car will drive to your phone location & follow you like a pet if you hold down summon button on Tesla app.”
Also, you’ll be able to drive it from your phone remotely like a big RC car if in line of sight

Tesla Motors is always in leading position when it comes to innovating new features. This new feature is the live example for it. With Tesla Car’s new feature, the hassle of finding the parking slot and parking the car will be much easier compared to now.
