There are a hell lot of superheroes for one movie. Seriously, that’s the first thing I notices through Avengers: Infinity Wars trailer. It is understandable since it is said to be biggest Marvel movie ever made – bringing in every single superhero from across the 18-film franchises that begun since Iron Man in 2008.
When we are just a few days from the release of the mega Marvel Movie – Avengers: Infinity Wars, a final trailer just manages to stir up the anticipation and lock it till the release. The trailer was not special just because it was released last minute (almost) or that it rekindled the enthusiasm due to those heavy villains or yet-another-mystery object hanging over Manhattan skylines. Rather, it was the fact that after spending so much time with all the superheroes around, it is quite exciting to watch them get to know each other, unite and fight together against evil.
It will also be a change to see in Marvel line because typically, Marvel has always put efforts to let successive instalments come up as truly unique and different from each other. Sure the themes pretty much remained the same with all the spandex and collateral damage from evil and the motto of great-powers-come-with-greater-responsibility – but they managed to be distinct somehow. So the promise that Avengers: Infinity Wars will gang up teams from different galaxies is quite exciting in itself. It will be like being able to see a lot of personalities all together – and to spice it up, there seems to be generous amount of monster-fighting.
And, how can we forget that it is going to be one hell of a star-studded show with – Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther, Chris Evans’ Captain America and Black Widow, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, Tom Holland’s Spiderman, Paul Rudd’s Antman, the rest of the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and pretty much every other ancillary character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. All these goodies will go against the creepy villainous Thanos (Josh Brolin) who will try to team up the baddies with the six Infinity Stones and the MacGuffin items of power from across the various Marvel films. So it is like an extremely high-powered dinner party of exceptionally powerful and hot people who will break off in between to punch some monsters. Sounds interesting, ain’t it?
