Months after Prince Harry married Meghan Markle, the Windsor Castle of England is ready to host another royal wedding as thousands of well-wishers gather up to celebrate the wedding of Princess Eugenie – the granddaughter of Queen, and Jack Brooksbank today.

Some 850 guests including celebs like singer Ellie Goulding, model Cara Delevingne, Robbie Williams and wife Ayda Field have been invited to attend the second royal wedding of the year. And other 1200 guest will watch the wedding live in the castle while others can watch Princess Eugenie’s wedding live that will be screened on ITV from 09:25 BST as part of a three-hour special. Following the blueprint of the previous wedding, the ceremony will take place at the castle’s 15th Century St George’s Chapel with the Dean of Windsor David Conner officiating.

Eugenie, 28, ninth-in-line to the throne is the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth and the younger daughter of Queen’s third child Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York. While Jack Brooksbank, the 32-year-old groom is a descended from the Brooksbank baronets and the UK ambassador for tequila brand, Casamigos. While Jack has royal connections and is reportedly a distant cousin of Eugenie’s (Her mother, the Duchess of York, is the great-great-granddaughter of Lady Julia Coke, who is the daughter of Jack’s great-great-grandfather, Thomas Coke), he will still be the addition of a second commoner in the royal family – after Meghan Markle, who is now the Duchess of Sussex.

The two met seven years ago in a Switzerland while skiing and they continued dating long-distance when Eugenie moved to New York City briefly for her career. Princess Eugenie described meeting Jack was “all butterflies” and how she called her mother the same night to tell “I’ve met this guy Jack. I really, really like this guy, I really want him to like me too”. And seven years later, the two will soon be pronounced man and wife.
