Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli’s wax figurine will be the latest addition to the iconic Madame Tussaud’s Museum in Delhi, as it will soon be unveiled alongside statues of other sports heroes including Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev and Lionel Messi.

What is common between Kapil Dev, Lionel Messi, David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, Sachin Tendulkar and now Virat Kohli – apart from being legends in their respective fields? Well, they all have a wax figurine at the iconic Madame Tussauds in Delhi with Kohli’s to be the latest addition, soon. We already knew that Kohli’s wax statue was being prepared, but it is now ready and will soon be unveiled for public viewing. So the famous Indian cricket captain will now get his wax statue in the city which he calls his home – for visitors to pose, click selfies and share a moment with quite easily the best batsman in the world at the moment.

Talking about this, Kohli said, “Talking about his inclusion in Madame Tussauds Delhi, Kohli said: “It’s a great honour to be chosen as one of the figures at Madame Tussauds. All thanks to the Madame Tussauds team who were extremely patient during the sitting sessions and for giving me a lifetime memory.” As per the reports, an expert team from Madame Tussauds flew from London to Mumbai to take over 200 specific measurements and images to create an authentic figure. Kholi’s statue will be the 23rd attraction to the Delhi Museum – including other prominent celebrities and influential personalities of world.
