In order to boost the physical and mental health of children, Tamil Nadu may make Yoga, a mandatory activity during school hours.
Although, the roll-out of programme is not yet finalised but CM Palaniswami strongly feels this step. Schools of state have asked students to stop the unnecessary activities online and pay full attention to Yoga and its related activities.
Being committed to solid education system, Tamil Nadu govt is taking various steps for filling gaps where students lack mental & physical stability. The university of Madras will see the appointment of more than 2000 graduate teachers who will act as special educator. CM has also claimed to have transparent recruitment system in state which will benefit the hard-working candidates first.
In earlier days, it took 7-8 months to get appointment letters for newly appointed teachers but now it is updated from root and the whole process will take place in just a few days, as guaranteed by Minister for School Education KA Sengottaiyan.
“Anna Centenary Library would soon be a hub that would prepare students for competitive exams through video conferencing and to make this possible around 10,000 teachers would be trained,” added Sengottaiyan.
After International Yoga Day established worldwide with the efforts of PM Modi, the importance of its practice is getting higher gradually. People around the world are taking Yoga as their primary morning activity. In certain parts of India, Yoga is playing a significant role in education to children.
